BKN Files Class Action Against College Board and ETS for AP Exam Failures

On May 19, 2020, Baker, Keener & Nahra, in conjunction with the Miller Advocacy Group, filed a nationwide class action lawsuit on behalf of thousands of students across the country and against Educational Testing Services and the College Entrance Examination Board for their failure to allow access to, and failure to administer, the Advanced Placement (“AP”) program competently and fairly (a copy of the complaint is linked below).

Phillip Baker, managing partner for the firm, commented in a recent Forbes article: “The College Board administered the exam knowing ahead of time that students would encounter problems and now is retreating by blaming others and taking absolutely no responsibility.”

The gross failures by Educational Testing Services and the College Entrance Examination Board resulted in thousands, if not tens of thousands, of students being denied access to AP exams, unfairly prejudiced during the taking of the AP examinations, and having their examination answers rejected, among other significant problems.  If you or someone you know has been impacted by these issues with AP testing and you are interested in learning more about, or would like to participate in, this class action lawsuit, please follow the link below to contact us.
