As the other former east coast resident, Ken Spencer comes to Baker, Keener & Nahra from Summit, New Jersey and is a partner with the firm. Ken focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful termination, products liability, healthcare law, and business litigation, counting among his clients both plaintiffs and defendants, consumers and manufacturers, and employees and employers alike. He believes in approaching his cases like a chess match: evaluate the board carefully before making your first move and never lose sight of the end result that you are seeking. Over his career he has represented a wide array of individuals and business entities, including military supply companies, aircraft parts manufacturers and local restaurants and night clubs. Ken also conducts workplace investigations on behalf of both private companies and public entities and advises California employers on risk management strategies and human resources issues.

Ken is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Steering Committee for the Loyola Law School Civil Justice Program and is a volunteer coach for the California Constitutional Rights Foundation Mock Trial Program. On the home front, Ken has a wife and three children and is actively involved in community causes such as his local parent teacher’s association, the Pacific Palisades Park Advisory Board, and coaching youth sports. Ken is an avid golfer, weight lifter and is a Certified Sports Massage Therapist.

Ken is also the inventor and patent holder of THE JURY CASE – “Your Voir Dire Organizer” – the jury selection system that has been used in civil and criminal courtrooms throughout the country with great success. Please visit for product details.
