Derrick S. Lowe
Raised in his hometown of Vallejo, California, Derrick Lowe is the newest partner with Baker, Keener & Nahra after joining the firm as an associate in 2010. During his time with the firm, Derrick has successfully represented numerous clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, in business disputes and in matters involving professional liability, product liability, personal injury, and insurance bad faith, both thorough law and motion and at trial. He is also responsible for the firm’s website and his numerous articles on recent legal developments can be found in the publications section of the website.
In addition to his work as an attorney, Derrick continues to work as a professional musician as he has for most of his life. He currently leads music at the contemporary service at First Presbyterian Church in Santa Barbara (and yes, he does drive up there every Sunday!), serves as the accompanist for Legal Voices, the choral component of the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic (which is often hailed — much to the chagrin of anti-pun enthusiasts everywhere — as Los Angeles’ only “legal” orchestra), and works as keyboardist a local event band playing regularly for wedding and corporate events around Southern California.
